Most people are effected by their environment, as well as their emotional or mental state.  Artists have a need to express these feelings in a viewable manner.  Why do we do this?  Why do we put ourselves out there for others to critique and or criticize?  Although I cannot answer this for others, for me it is simply a matter of necessity.
